Helen Joseph, Executive Director and Founder of Expressive Arts Place, is a Haitian-American Expressive Arts Therapist from Boston, Massachusetts.  Helen is an artist, mental health clinician, yogi, and educator with professional interests in identifying and addressing barriers to mental health access in diverse communities and utilizing the arts as a vehicle towards social justice and equity. Domestically and internationally, her community and school based expressive therapies practice strives to be culturally inclusive. Helen received both her Bachelor Degree (Expressive Arts Therapy)  and Master Degree (Expressive Therapies and Clinical Mental Health Counseling) at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. ​
