Exploring self: Therapy is a place where every part of us is welcome and where we can get to know aspects of ourselves that may have previously been hidden.
Building insight: Therapy can help us better understand why we do the things we do.
Building Self Esteem: As we get to know ourselves and begin to accept all of our parts, our view of ourselves shifts accordingly.
Processing past trauma: Therapy can provide a space for us to rebuild a sense of safety, develop a new understanding of the experience(s) that occurred, and reconnect with ourselves, other people, and/or the world.
Improving relationships: Therapy is a place for us to examine patterns that show up in our relationships so that we can better understand them, change what might not be working for us, and/or accept what we cannot change.
