The goal of this program is to bring educators in the community together, and collaboratively work on strategies for integrating more creative modalities into the manner in which they teach their curriculum to students. The program strives for participants to understand how the creativity of teachers and students may be beneficial in the classroom and promote academic, behavioral, and social success for students.

Expressive Arts Place was established in 2015 to provide health and education services to local and international communities through the arts. While we officially formed as a company in 2015, our programs began running in 2013, and for the past several years we've offered various collaborative art programs in local and international communities to educate children about mental and emotional health, bring educators in the communities together to collaboratively work on strategies for integrating more creative art approaches into classroom curriculum, and to train graduate and undergraduate students interested in working internationally to facilitate meaningful conversations and connections through the arts. Our service are currently being performed virtually only due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
